Walsall Bereavement Support Service

WBSS is a local charity providing specialist bereavement support to bereaved Walsall residents of any age. We offer an adult bereavement support service ‘Let’s Talk’ and a children/young people’s bereavement service THE SWING.

Our volunteers are trained to understand bereavement issues and our service is free to all our users, irrespective of their relationship to the deceased person, the cause of the death or the time that has elapsed since the death.

Adult bereavement support service

We offer free support to adults in the Walsall Borough, including those who have been bereaved by suicide.

We offer free support to bereaved children, young people and their families who live in the Walsall borough.

Our facilities and location

We are located in Walsall town centre, near the bus station. We have quiet, peaceful rooms and trained counselling volunteers to help you come to terms with your feelings and what has happened.

The charity is completely funded through voluntary donations and has to raise over £100,000 each year to provide its' services.

We need your support to ensure that we can continue to offer our support to those who need our help.
